Ridgeview Veterinary
Practice was founded in 1989 when Dr. Will Engel purchased
the Town & Country
large-animal practice from Dr. Harold Holbrook, who was
retiring. Today, the staff includes two veterinarians
and three assistants, serving more than 1,600 clients
and 3,500 horses in central Maryland.
A full-service, state-of-the-art ambulatory
equine practice, Ridgeview equips each of its veterinarians
with portable x-ray and ultrasound machines and endoscopes
for on-farm use. In addition, the practice can process
x-rays, incubate cultures and perform lab work in-house,
providing the fastest possible diagnostic test results.
Ridgeview's vibrant breeding program
is active at every step—from pre-breeding cycle work
to artificial insemination to pre-natal care, delivery
and follow-up.
Client Care—both equine and human—is
top priority at Ridgeview Veterinary Practice.
